by Cheryl Johnston
She is awake in the late hours of the night
Laying in her bed and remembering
She refuses to let the memories go
Of when nothing could bring her down
She thought she had it all
She looks in the mirror and sees a stranger
She's lost somewhere inside herself
All she really wants is for someone to find her again
And all she really wants is to be free
She really wants it all
She can't think of anyway to bring the feeling back
Except to remember
That time of utter sweetness-a little glimpse of utopia
It's breaking her heart a little more every time
But all she knew is all she has
She did have it all
