That Little Thing

It's that subtle thing that happens,
Without anyone really knowing.
It's a bond between two people,
That grows with time and passing.
Its foundation is truth and trust.
Without this, it will falter.
It thrives in fun and laughing,
Helpful when things could be better.
It grows in common differences.
It's that little thing - called friendship.
